SANTA CATARINA STATE

Located at Southern Brazil, Santa Catarina State has a unique diversity of scenery. With its fascinating combination of all the best to be found in Brazil, Santa Catarina is now the nation’s third largest tourist destination. From white sand beaches, tropical forests and snowy mountains to Azorean fishermen and Italian and German colonies, this destination offers an array of possibilities for visitors that come from all over the world. In this amazing package that we have designed, you will be able to experience a nature’s spectacle. Travelers will not only be within the limits of the Southern Right Whale Environment Protection Area where some of the top beach destinations in Brazil are located, but as well will watch when the whales leave Antarctic waters and come to Santa Catarina state, where they spend the Summer to mate and nurse their young off the coast of this paradise destination. Santa Catharina’s coast is nowadays a whale preservation model and thanks to environmental efforts the Southern Whale population has been growing steadily. Mothers and calves are a common site in Santa Catarina state. Southern Right Whales come close to the shore - sometimes just 100 feet away.
